Yoga with Vigor

I started practicing Iyengar yoga four years ago. There have been several interruptions in my practice due to injury, surgery, and l old bones, but over the years I have found that yoga buoys me up. I feel great after practice and in touch with myself. I study at Yogani studios on Platt street, and for now I have been taking private lessons, because surgery on my left foot made it difficult to keep up with a regular class. Bobbie Kass, my yoga teacher, is excellent in devising accomodations for various asanas. I hope one day to keep up with a regular Iyengar class.

I would like to credit my first yoga teacher Michelle Hammond for providing me with a good base in Iyengar yoga. I would also like the thank Laraine O'Neill for her generous help, instruction and support. Last but not least I would like to express appreciation for the encouragement of Susan Oliver and Manuel Arocho to start something like this during my sixties.
